In the 19th century, both the state and society did not give adequate priority to education of girls in Rajasthan. It was during these times that the enlightened and visionary education lovers of Jain society realized the importance of girls’ education and in 1918, they established a school.
Subodh Shiksha Samiti by establishing 18 educational institutions including the girl's school, has set an important example for quality education in Rajasthan.The institutions provide education to children starting from preprimary to post-graduation. The school for girls is an epitome of virtuous and revolutionary service of liberal educationists. Apart from providing academic knowledge to the girl students, it also strives to inculcate practical knowledge, loyalty and dedication towards society and nation.
Presently there are 3 faculties in the Girls School - Arts, Commerce and Science (Mathematics and Biology). Each of the laboratories of art, home science, computer and science are well equipped with educational tools. The pass percentage is almost 100% for all subjects. Annually students of secondary and higher secondary have been receiving Gargi Award for scoring 75 percent and above marks in the examinations
